A strong contingent of 284 Pakistani exhibitors is set to represent the nation”s textile sector at Heimtextil 2026, the world”s foremost trade fair for home and contract textiles, scheduled to take place in Frankfurt, Germany.
According to an official information today, the annual exhibition, running from January 13-16, is recognized as the first major textile event of the year and serves as a significant platform for establishing upcoming trends in design, color, and technological innovation.
Heimtextil 2026 will present a comprehensive collection of home and household textiles, from furnishing fabrics and bedding to carpets and sun-protection systems. The event will also feature advancements in the industry, including AI-assisted design and sustainable manufacturing methods.
For Pakistan”s exporters, participation in the international showcase provides direct access to European buyers and new customers, offering crucial insights into global market trends and strengthening the country”s position as a formidable player in the textile industry.
The national delegation includes prominent enterprises such as Al-Karam Textile Mills, Al-Rahim Textile Industries, and Gul Ahmed Textile Mills. Additionally, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is supporting 58 companies, including Acme Mills, Adil Hassan Textiles, and Aksa Tex Style Industries.
A new development for the 2026 event is the introduction of a dedicated carpet section by TDAP. This segment will feature Everest Export Corporation, EWC Interiors, Inter Textile and Leather Solution, and Ziyan Textiles, among others. Khyber Weavers International will also be present, attending independently.
The event is poised to be a key venue for networking, fostering creativity, and securing business growth, which will help elevate Pakistan’s profile and reputation within the international textile community.
