It’s an unprecedented opportunity for these interrelated industries and startups to showcase their potential and quality to attract new investors and to bring development and progress in the industry.
Plastic industry has gained much more prominence worldwide as never before. Its usage and importance as a raw material and as a finished product for other industries is rising day by day. Pakistan stands second in the row of Plastic Industry in South Asia possessing 6,500 plastic processing units. In terms of output and quality, Pakistan’s plastic industry is quite promising.
Pakistan has also shown great potential through demonstrating best quality in the field of packaging. Due to rising exports and the demand of packaged food in the local market; foreign investors are also showing their interest and the demand of packaged product has risen up. It is observed that Flexible Packaging, Paper boards, Corrugated Boxes and Cartons, Plastic films, Thermoplastic boxes and containers and Jute sacks are in demand in Pakistan market.
Despite having colossal capabilities printing industry in Pakistan still needs to be explored at its full capacity. Having said that, Pakistan has excelled in this field over the past few years by meeting the demands of paper and printing by local and foreign markets. More than 10,000 trade visitors are expected to meet with representatives of more than 300 exhibitors during 22-24 March 2019 in this exhibition.
