Police from Okara’s Ravi police station, during a successful search operation, took four people, including two women, into custody and recovered a total of more than 17 kilograms of hashish.

The series of arrests began today when Ravi police arrested a suspect named Noor Ahmed during a search operation. He was allegedly taken into custody for selling drugs in front of a private hotel and 03 kilograms of hashish were recovered from his possession.

Acting on information received from Noor Ahmed after his arrest, a female suspect named Bushra Bibi was arrested. A large quantity of 11 kilograms of hashish was seized from her possession, which is the biggest seizure of this crackdown.

In a separate operation, another suspect Nadeem alias Bhola was arrested with 1 kg 420 grams of drugs within the limits of City Dipalpur police station.

The fourth suspect, a female dealer named Khadija Bibi, was also taken into custody from the Dholiana area, from whose possession 1 kg 600 grams of hashish was recovered.
