Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori announced a significant milestone in international employment opportunities, revealing that a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Governor Initiatives and the Cyber Range Solutions.

This agreement aims to create 40,000 jobs for Pakistanis in the United States, fulfilling the requirements of artificial intelligence. Successful candidates can expect salaries ranging from $90,000 to $130,000, with the company covering initial expenses for students.

During a press conference at the Governor House, alongside Federal Minister for Education Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Governor Tessori elaborated that the company will offer a six-month free course followed by a test. Those who pass the test will secure employment opportunities. Students participating in IT courses under the Governor Initiatives are required to pass the test and obtain certification. The Governor expressed satisfaction by stating that their efforts are finally bearing fruit, with courses set to commence next week.

He congratulated the students, remarking on the growth from a seed planted a year ago to a fruitful tree today. Out of 550,000 students who took the IT course test, 50,000 qualified and have been engaged in advanced IT courses for the past 11 months.

The Governor emphasized the need for a major change in the education curriculum, noting that Pakistan lags four to five years behind the world in educational matters. He mentioned that, after 77 years, campuses of top universities are being established in the province.

Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui praised the efforts, acknowledging that while the Governor had no authority or promise, there was a strong intent. He noted that IT course students require certification globally, but within Pakistan, this remains essential.

The Federal Minister highlighted that the work at the Governor House is not recognized within Pakistan but is gaining acknowledgment abroad. He expressed a collaborative vision with Governor Sindh to transform the city into an educational hub.
