Srinagar, July 18, 2022 (PPI-OT): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has expressed serious concern over the dire situation and continued militaristic policies being pursued by Narendra Modi led fascist Indian regime in the territory.
The Indian military and police have established new camps in an already highly militarized Kashmir after the Modi regime handed over thousands of kanals of Kashmiris’ land to its forces’ personnel mostly in Srinagar, south and north Kashmir areas. The land is also being used for constructing permanent settlements for the occupation troops.
The APHC leadership in a statement in Srinagar said that the Modi regime and its administration in IIOJK under a well-thought-out policy unlawfully grabbed this land from the locals and gave it to its forces’ personnel. The leadership added that the Indian authorities were aware of the fact that the Kashmiri people would not sell their land and properties to the non-Kashmiris and that’s why their land was being forcibly seized.
The statement urged the people of occupied Kashmir to unite and resist India’s nefarious plan, tooth and nail. The APHC leadership also appealed to the world community, particularly the United Nations, to take cognizance of Modi regime’s illegal actions and its aggressive policies in occupied Kashmir and help resolve the Kashmir dispute as per the Kashmiris’ wishes and the UN resolutions.
Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference leadership including its General Secretary Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani while terming July 19 as an important milestone in the history of Jammu and Kashmir said that on this day in 1947, almost a month before Pakistan came into being, the Kashmiri people associated its political future with Pakistan.
The leadership reiterated the Kashmiris’ commitment to continue their struggle for right to self-determination against all odds till it reached its logical conclusion.
