Islamabad, July 18, 2022 (PPI-OT): Finance Minister Miftah Ismail has directed the relevant authorities undertake the required measures for addressing the concerns of Pharmaceutical industry. He directed this during a meeting with representatives of Pakistan Pharmaceutical Industry in Islamabad on Monday.
The Finance Minister acknowledged the contribution of pharmaceutical industry and expressed the government’s commitment to resolve the operational issues being faced by different sectors of the economy. The meeting discussed matters related to sales tax on import of raw material and refunds of sales tax faced by the Pharmaceutical industry.
