ISLAMABAD: International Day of the Girl Child was celebrated on Tuesday. In his message on the 10th anniversary of the International Day of the Girl Child, Secretary General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres said when girls are educated, they are more likely to lead healthy, productive and fulfilling lives.
He said when girls receive the right healthcare, they grow up with greater self-confidence and bodily autonomy. Antonio Guterres said let us redouble our efforts to make sure girls everywhere are healthy, educated and safe.
