Sunni Tehreek demands transfer of DC Naseerabad

NASEERABAD: Sunni Tehreek, Naseerabad, has demanded of the authorities to get Deputy Commissioner, Naseerabad transferred immediately as the incumbent Deputy Commissioner had miserably failed in rescue, relief and rehabilitation operations in the wake of floods that wreaked havoc in different areas of Naseerabad.

This demand was made in the protest demonstration outside the offices of Deputy Commission, Naseerabad held under the aegis of Sunni Tehreek, Naseerabad. Addressing the protest demonstration, speakers said that no relief goods had been provided to the flood affectees of Naseerabad, adding that winter season was about to commence, but flood affectees had not been rehabilitated.

They said that district administration had failed to provide any kind of relief to the flood affectees of Naseerabad area of Balochistan province. They said that one junior most Assistant Commissioner had been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Naseerabad, adding that performance of incumbent Deputy Commissioner in the field was zero.

They called on Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and Chief Secretary Balochistan, Abdul Aziz Uqaili to get Deputy Commissioner, Naseerabad transferred forthwith, adding that if the incompetent Deputy Commissioner was not transferred within a period of 25 days, Sunni Tehreek, Naseerabad would launch protest movement after taking into confidence other political parties of Naseerabad.

Protest demonstration was addressed by provincial leader of Sunni Tehreek, Nawab Din Domki, District President, Sunni Tehreek, Naseerabad, Allah Dita, leader of Balochistan National Party (Awami), Syed Gul Shah, Ejaz Ahmed and others. Earlier, a protest rally was taken out. Participants of rally marched through different roads and reached outside the office of Deputy Commissioner, Naseerabad where a protest demonstration was held. Chanting slogans in favour of their demands, protesters dispersed peacefully.
