Steps taken to curb cheating: BBISE chairman

QUETTA:Saadia Farooqi, Chairman, Balochistan Board on Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE), Quetta, said Tuesday that measures have been adopted to curb the menace of cheating and other unlawful means during the ongoing examination of 9th.

These views were expressed by her during visit to different examination centres of the provincial capital. Urging parents to keep their children aloof from cheating, she said that Balochistan Board on Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE), Quetta had taken steps to curb cheating.

“Instead of being dependent on cheating, students ought to concentrate on their studies”, said Farooqi, adding that the country and the province required the services of skilled and educated youth. She said that a control room in BBISE had been set up for monitoring examinations. On the occasion, Shamsullah, Additional Secretary (Finance), BBISE, Quetta was also present.
