QUETTA:Patients could not be provided with healthcare facilities in government run hospitals of the provincial capital on Saturday.
On the other hand detained doctors and paramedical staff were brought before the court of law. According to detail, OPDs and Emergency Services in Sandeman Provincial Hospital (SPH), Quetta, Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, Quetta and other healthcare facilities in Quetta and other areas of the province remained deserted owing to the strike announced by Young Doctors Association (YDA) and Balochistan Paramedical Staff Association for redressal of their grievances, creating thereby hardships for patients coming from far flung areas of Balochistan province for treatment.
Doctors and paramedical staff, arrested from the Red Zone area of the city the previous day, were produced before the court of law.
