QUETTA:Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, has said that extracurricular activities, including sports, help groom youth.
In his message issued here on Sunday by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on the commencement of three-day-Gwadar Youth and Sports Festival, Bizenjo said that youth, that comprised more than half population of the country, played a significant role in the progress and development of the country and nation.
Urging youth of Gwadar to take active part in Gwadar Youth and Sports Festival, he said that youths of Mekran Division had always proved their talent in national and international events, adding that Gwadar was not only the aorta of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), but was also having a unique status in the entire coastal belt of the province. “People of Balochistan have now changed”, said he, adding that youth of the province could play their role for the progress and prosperity of the province by proving their inner talent.
