LAHORE: Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid Friday said that the government was set to enact a law to make thalassemia test mandatory for couples before marriage.
In an interview with the 24NewsHD channel, the health minister said that the enactment of such a law was very important. “This hereditary disease thalassemia can be prevented if it is timely diagnosed,” she said.
