Commissioner directs action against Afghans and tight security to Chinese

LARKANA: Commissioner, Larkana Division, Ghanwar Ali Leghari, has ordered to gather data of illegal foreigners living in Larkana Division, especially Afghans, and speed up efforts to deport them to their homeland. However, the security of the Chinese living inside the division should be tightened and their statistics have also been directed to be collected.

He made such an order while presiding over the meeting of the Divisional Intelligence Committee held in the conference hall of his office on Thursday. Deputy commissioners and police officers of five districts briefed the meeting about the security of their respective districts. Commissioner said that the details of illegal immigrants, especially Afghans, should be collected and measures should be taken for their return to their homeland and the security of the borders related to the division should be tightened so that unlawful foreigners cannot come here.

Commissioner said that information should be collected about the Chinese living in the division and working on different projects, such as how many of them live here and where they work and their security should be made foolproof. He said that the Chinese are working on various projects here, their security is the responsibility of the Sindh government. DC Rabiya Siyal of Larkana, Munwar Ali Mithani of Kandhkot @ Kashmore and others were present but some of the officials also participated through video link in the meeting.
