NAUNDERO: The Sindh Foot March started from Sukkur by the Sindh United Party (SUP) for the restoration of Sindh reached Bhutto leaders hometown after sunset on Friday. The convoy of the foot march reached Bab-e-Zulfikar which was very warmly welcomed by various political, non-political and social organizations, including the activists of PPP-Shaheed Bhutto who showered rose petals on the caravan.
Syed Zain Shah, President SUP, Roshan Buriro, Jagdesh Ahuja, Ameer Azad, Sheeba Mughal, Dr. Mazhar Mughal, Manzoor Shaikh, Bachal Mangi, Shabbir Kalhoro, Khurshid Kehar, Roshan Kalhoro and others joined the rally in large numbers which after marching through various roads gathered at Allahwala Chowk where Zain Shah addressed the participants.
Syed Zain Shah said that the rulers of Sindh, whether Syed or Zardari, have passed a bill in the National Assembly to divide Sindh into two parts, which they are running around day and night to approve. “We will never let them do it”, he declared loudly amid clapping. Shah said that I have come to the people with the case of Sindh and the people should come out and support us against such rulers who are hostile to Sindh.
He said that the establishment should leave the support of the thieves, corrupt and conduct a transparent election in the country so that the country can run in a better way. He said that many areas of Sindh have been destroyed during the devastating floods and rains and instead of rehabilitating Sindh, the current rulers have committed massive corruption in the funds and relief goods received from abroad and have not spent a single rupee on the rehabilitation of Sindh and its inhabitants.
He said that we have started a foot rally from Sukkur and will reach Larkana and Karachi from Naundero and we hope that the people of Sindh will support us fully. He appealed to the people of Sindh to be a part of the Sindh Foot March for the restoration of Sindh and gather in Karachi in millions so that we can drive home the corrupt and incompetent rulers who are causing the worst inflation, unemployment, lawlessness and economic crisis in the country.
