GWADAR:Central leader of Balochistan National Party (Mengal), MPA Mir Hammal Kalmati, accompanied by a delegation comprising office bearers BNP, Gwadar, on Wednesday paid a visit to Gwadar University and Government Boys Degree College, Gwadar.
Giving briefing to him regarding educational facilities available in the university, it was informed by Professor Dr. Manzoor Baloch, Pro-Vice Chancellor, University of Gwadar that Gwadar University had played a significant role within a shorter period of time to impart higher education.
Speaking on the occasion, Mir Hammal Kalmati said, “Being representative of Gwadar, I have always tried to provide facilities to Gwadar University”. He assured administration of Gwadar that new buses would soon be provided to the university. On the occasion, Dr. Doulat Khan, Registrar, University of Gwadar was also present.
Moreover, MPA Mir Hammal Kalmati also visited Government Boys Degree College, Gwadar. Upon arrival, he was greeted by Professor Zaheer Baloch, Principal, Government Boys Degree College, Gwadar and professor Hammal Baloch. During inspection of Science Laboratory and interaction with staff and students during inspection of classes, he was apprised of the deficiency of teaching staff, buses and other facilities.
Speaking on the occasion, MPA Hammal Kalmati said that he had always paid attention to improve educational sector of Gwadar by allocating handsome amount of fund, adding that new colleges, to be set up in Jiwani, Ormara and Piskan, would provide educational facilities to the dwellers of the area. Kalmati said that besides overcoming the deficiency of teaching staff in Government Boys Degree College, Gwadar, new buses would also be provided to the college. On the occasion, Kohda Baloch, district president, Balochistan National Party (Mengal), Gwadar was also present.
