LORALAI: Wagah border-bound troller loaded with fig was set on fire by unidentified miscreants in the wee hours of Monday near Spin Masjid area on Quetta-Dera Ghazi highway in district Loralai of Balochistan province.
According to a report, Wagah border-bound AC troller loaded with Afghani fig under Afghan-Pakistan Transit Trade Agreement coming from Chaman, a city bordering neighbouring country Afghanistan, was set ablaze by unidentified miscreants near Spin Masjid area on Quetta-Dera Ghazi highway in district Loralai of Balochistan province.
Gul Muhammad, driver of the troller alleged that unidentified terrorists on board in a fielder vehicle lobbed petrol bomb at the troller, resultantly, troller loaded with fig was burnt to ashes.
Talking to PPI, Haji Abdul Ali, leader of Balochistan Goods Transport Union, while condemning the incident, demanded of the authorities to apprehend perpetrators of the crime. It is worth mentioning that the previous year unidentified miscreants had also opened fire on AC troller loaded with goods under Afghanistan-Pakistan Transit Trade Agreement in Killa Safiullah area of the province.
Afghanistan-Pakistani Transit Trade Agreement 2020, signed between Pakistan and Afghanistan, calls for facilitation in the movement of goods amongst Pakistan and Afghanistan.
