QUETTA: Government of Balochistan on Sunday deputed outbreak response team to District Sibi in response to the information received regarding acute watery Diarrhea cases.
The outbreak response team was deputed to district Sibi in response to the information received regarding acute Watery Diarrhea cases. The team include Dr Mudasir (Team Lead) Surveillance Officer, PDSRU; Dr. Andleeb Surveillance Officer, DSRU Sibi; and Dr. Salam Khoso WHO, Surveillance Officer, Naseerabad.
Notification further says, “Furthermore, following logistics are also provided to above team:- (1) Rapid Testing Kits (2) Carry Blair Sampling Kits (3) Aqua Tab For chlorination (4) Ringer Lactate. Notification further says, “Terms of Reference (TORs) 1. Investigate the whole case of the acute watery diarrhea. 2. Rapid testing of the cases to find out the route cause. 3. Support the MS DHQ Hospital Sibi & DHO Sibi in response 4. Submit the daily reports of the cases and the tests performed. 5. Also adopt all tasks relevant to investigation and response 6. Submit a preliminary report at the earliest.”
