KHAIRPUR:,,, Three people lost their lives and two others sustained injuries in a head-on collision between two trucks on Mehran National Highway near Pir Wasan on Monday.
According to Pir Wasan police report, the collision occurred due to low visibility caused by dense fog. The victims were identified as Anwer Ali Solangi, Sidique Ali Choudhry, and Ghulam Abbas Solangi, who tragically died at the scene. Javed Pathan and Azhar Ali Solangi sustained severe injuries.
The bodies and the injured were rushed to Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences for medico-legal procedures and treatment, respectively. The authorities have taken both the trucks into custody, and a NC report has been filed regarding the incident.
The preliminary cause of the accident has been attributed to a combination of high speed and foggy weather conditions. Investigations were underway to ascertain further details and circumstances surrounding the incident.
