A robber involved in motorcycle snatching was apprehended within the limits of Baberloi Police Station near Sukkur on Thursday.
According to a police report, an encounter took place between Baberloi cops and robbers on the Wasrio Wahin Link Road. As a result, one suspect was critically injured and arrested, while his accomplice managed to escape.
Weapons were also recovered from the detained robber, the police said. The robbers were planning to commit a crime while being disguised in police uniforms on Wasrio Wahin Link Road, the police said.
The injured accused was identified as Muhammad Ali, son of Mumtaz Jagirani, a resident of Kandhra area of district Sukkur.
