A man was killed and three others were injured in an armed clash between two groups of the Luni tribe in Duki area of Balochistan, on Tuesday.
According to Duki police, the clash occurred near Spin Masjid in the Nasarabad area of Duki. The deceased was identified as Mateen Luni, son of Faizullah Luni, a resident of Luniabad, Duki. The injured were Jan Muhammad Luni, son of Raz Muhammad Luni, Masood Luni, son of Faizullah Luni, and Rehmatullah Luni, also son of Faizullah Luni.
The injured were shifted to a Duki hospital for treatment, while the body was handed over to the family after the completion of medico-legal formalities. Police attributed the clash to an old tribal enmity and have launched an investigation.
Meanwhile, a man died in a road accident near Asghara area of Loralai on Tuesday.
Rescue sources reported that a vehicle traveling from Harnai to Loralai overturned near Asghara. The deceased was identified as Noor Gul Tarin, son of Dost Muhammad Tarin, a resident of Killi Roghi area of Harnai. His body was shifted to Loralai hospital and later handed over to the family after completing necessary legal procedures. Authorities were investigating the incident.
