Khairpur police conducted a targeted operation against dacoits in the kacha area on Tuesday, arresting 11 suspects.
According to a police report, the operation, carried out under the directives of SSP Khairpur, Touheed Rahman Memon, involved police personnel from five subdivisions. During the operation, hideouts and dens of the dacoits were demolished.
The SSP Khairpur emphasized that no group would be allowed to disrupt peace. He mentioned that drone cameras were being used for surveillance of the dacoits’ hideouts. Police presence has been increased at the entry and exit points of the kacha area, and facilitators of the dacoits will also be apprehended.
“We will not tolerate those who disturb peace, and they will be dealt with firmly to ensure their complete elimination,” said the SSP. “Any criminal who surrenders will be provided with legal assistance.”
He further said: “The top priority is the eradication of crime and the restoration of peace in the district. The operation aims to safeguard the lives and property of the public while tackling criminals, social evils, and terrorists with an iron hand.”
