Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon met with a delegation of Chinese businessmen to discuss the introduction of electric scooters in the province. The meeting also explored the possibilities of promoting a modern transport system.
The Chinese delegation expressed interest in investing in Sindh’s transport sector and presented their proposals for enhancing modern travel facilities. The delgation membersd briefed Memon about their company’s technology and transport systems.
Memon welcomed the interest of the Chinese investors and offered to establish a manufacturing plant for electric vehicles in Sindh. The delegation was assured of full cooperation from the Sindh government and favorable policies for investment.
The minister stated that the Sindh government was keen on empowering women further. Soon, one 1000 electric scooties will be provided to working women and female students in the province. He further mentioned that the production of electric vehicles would lead to industrial development and create employment opportunities.
