Protest in Larkana Against Killing of 3 People, Including 2 Brothers, by Police

A protest is underway in Larkana after police killed three people, labeling them as robbers and murderers. Police officials have kept the bodies in their custody. However, the relatives of the deceased say that Khadim Dastan, Imdad Dastan, and their cousin, Nematullah Dastan, were working in their fields when the police arrested and killed them.

Grieving families, including women and children, protested in front of the press club, demanding justice and the return of the bodies. They said that two of the deceased were brothers, while the third was their cousin. Relatives requested the return of the bodies for a last glimpse of their loved ones.

The authorities have not yet released the bodies. The affected families have termed the incident as extrajudicial killing and demanded justice.

This incident occurred after a clash between police and criminals in Waris Dino Machi, near Ratodero, yesterday, in which officer Munir Soomro was killed. Police officials say that these three individuals were killed during an operation conducted to arrest the officer’s killers.
