Ten people were injured in a passenger van accident near Kandiaro on the National Highway. The vehicle, traveling from Sukkur to Moro, crashed into a barrier at the Kandiaro toll plaza after its brakes failed.
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Kandiaro police station. The injured include Javed Solangi from Ranipur, Khalida Solangi from Kandiaro, Muhammad Ismail Sial from Tando Ghulam Shah, Muhammad Saleem Ghanghro, Anwar Ghanghro, and Gulsher Solangi. Several other passengers also sustained injuries.
Motorway police and Rescue 1122 personnel shifted the injured to a nearby medical facility. Law enforcement officials attributed the cause of the accident to speeding and faulty brakes. An investigation into the incident is underway.
