Cattle Show to be Held in Jacobabad

Sindh and Balochistan are uniting to promote their livestock sectors. To further this collaboration, a cattle show will be held in Jacobabad. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Balochistan Livestock Minister Sardarzada Mir Faisal Jamali met to discuss mutual strategies for livestock development. Other provincial officials, including Sindh Minister of Fisheries and Livestock Muhammad Ali Malkani and Sardar Haroon Jamali, also attended.

Chief Minister Shah advocated for increased interprovincial cooperation to boost livestock production. A key component of the agreement involves the exchange of high-breed animals between the two provinces.

A representative of the Sindh Chief Minister confirmed plans to host the livestock exhibition in Jacobabad. Chief Minister Shah intends to participate and has extended an invitation to his Balochistan counterpart. He also encouraged joint research initiatives between the livestock departments of both provinces.

The meeting recognized several key breeds, including the Rakhla cow, Bhagnari bull, Bibrik and Hazara buffaloes, Kakrai and Pari goats, and Kochi camels, which are planned to be introduced in Sindh.

Chief Minister Shah highlighted notable breeds from Sindh such as the Thari cow, Red Sindhi, Kundhi buffaloes, Koh????? camels, and goats. He emphasized the importance of mutual work in animal breeding and exchange programs.
