The Sindh Health Department organized a joint health and awareness camp in the coastal village of Keti Bandar, providing medical facilities and information to over 700 residents. Led by Provincial Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, the initiative saw collaboration from several government departments and NGOs.
The program, jointly organized by the Population Welfare Department and the Health Department, provided specialized medical consultations in various fields including general medicine, dermatology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and reproductive health, with a special focus on maternal and child health. All patients were provided with free medicines.
In addition to treatment, educational sessions were also conducted to raise awareness among the public about important health issues. The event demonstrated international cooperation and collective efforts to support disadvantaged communities.
Representatives from several government and private organizations participated in the one-day camp, expressing collective support for the project. Key supporting organizations included Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA), Save the Children Foundation (SCF), HANDS Pakistan, Sindh Social Safety (Mumta Program), and SIHP (Rescue 1122 Service).
