A mother of four died in Piru Lashari, near Talahar in Badin district, as a result of a wrong injection administered by an unregistered medical practitioner.
The deceased, Nusrat Chang, had consulted a quack for a minor headache.
According to the relatives, including Haseena Chang and Zahid Chang, Nusrat Chang’s condition deteriorated rapidly after the injection, resulting in her death.
The bereaved family protested outside the local police station with the body of the deceased and demanded the arrest and legal action against the quack.
They appealed to the Sindh Health Department and Badin district authorities to take action against such unauthorized medical practitioners.
