Pakistan Sunni Tehreek’s Central President Sahibzada Allama Bilal Abbas Qadri, in a statement on Wednesday, severely criticized the Sindh government, describing its performance as “zero” and said that the entire province, including Karachi, is stuck in a quagmire of crises while its officials are in a “deep sleep.”
Speaking on the daily increase in public difficulties, Qadri said that the people of Sindh are facing basic problems like water, electricity, sanitation, health, and education. He pointed to Karachi’s dilapidated roads and the piles of garbage spread everywhere, which are emitting a foul stench, forcing taxpayers to live in the worst conditions.
The party leader said, “The Sindh government’s performance is zero; only announcements and claims are being made, but practical steps are nowhere to be seen.” He added that the public is fed up with corruption, incompetence, and mismanagement and now wants change.
Qadri maintained that the provincial administration has completely failed in every sector. He accused the party in power for 17 years of taking votes from the people but not fulfilling a single promise made to them.
He further elaborated that residents across Sindh are burdened by severe hardships, including widespread corruption, unemployment, inflation, and poor governance. He described the state of the health, education, and sanitation systems as dismal, which is depriving citizens of basic facilities.
Qadri concluded by appealing to the public for action, saying that the people have become aware and will not be misled by false claims. He emphasized, “The time has come for the people to raise their voice for their rights and hold these rulers accountable who are just enjoying the perks of power… through the power of their vote.”
