An electoral meeting of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) was held in Talhar on Wednesday, where Hafiz Muhammad Hussain Samo was unanimously elected as President. While Sain Nisar Ahmed Jhakro and Arif Talpur were elected as Senior Vice President and General Secretary, respectively.
The meeting was held under the supervision of the Provincial Election Committee’s Dr. Younus Danish, Allama Qari Niaz Ahmed Naqshbandi, and Muhammad Aslam Langah. Allama Qari Niaz Ahmed Naqshbandi administered the oath to the newly elected officials.
Addressing the meeting, Dr. Younus Danish, who is also the Central Spokesperson and Chairman of the Election Committee, highlighted the party’s mission to establish the Nizam-e-Mustafa ? and protect its status. He reiterated the role of JUP in creating religious awareness and political stability among the public and vowed to continue the legacy of its founders. Dr. Danish urged the party members to maintain unity and discipline.
