The price of gold experienced a significant decrease on Thursday, with the value of 24-karat gold per tola falling by Rs 3,500 to Rs 433,862.
This downward trend continued across other measurements. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 3,001 to Rs 371,966. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs 2,751, bringing its new price to Rs 340,981.
This decrease in the local market was in line with global developments, where the international price of gold closed at $4,115 per ounce after a notable drop of $35.
In contrast to the fluctuations in the gold market, silver prices remained completely stable. The price of 24-karat silver per tola was maintained at Rs 5,110, while the price of 10 grams of 24-karat silver also remained steady at Rs 4,381.
The international silver price also remained stable at $49.26 without any change.
