Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today issued a directive to expedite key infrastructure and welfare projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, underscoring the province”s critical importance in the national development agenda following a high-level meeting with regional lawmakers.
The premier convened with Members of Parliament and the political leadership from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the capital. The meeting”s agenda included a discussion on the country”s overall political landscape and a review of ongoing developmental initiatives in the province.
During the dialogue, Mr. Sharif reaffirmed the government”s commitment to ensuring equitable advancement across all regions of Pakistan. He specifically stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains a foremost priority for his administration.
While expressing satisfaction with the current pace of the development work, the Prime Minister instructed the relevant authorities to accelerate the completion of these pivotal public schemes.
He also underscored the necessity of sustained political engagement as a crucial element for ensuring both stability and continued growth within the province.
