The national contingent, under the captaincy of Abbas Afridi, is set to depart for Hong Kong on November 5 to compete in the 21st edition of the fast-paced cricket event. The tournament will feature a total of 12 international sides.
According to the official schedule, Pakistan has been placed in Pool C alongside India and Kuwait. The green shirts will play both of their preliminary matches on Friday, November 7, setting the stage for an intense day of cricket.
The Pakistan squad comprises Abbas Afridi (captain), Abdul Samad, Khawaja Muhammad Nafi, Muaz Sadaqat, Muhammad Shehzad, Saad Masood, and Shahid Aziz. Additionally, Danish Aziz and Muhammad Faiq have been selected as non-traveling reserves for the competition.
