Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Joins Students in Traditional Attan Dance at University Event

Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi set aside his formal duties to embrace cultural celebration, joining Pashtun students in a traditional Attan dance at Quaid-e-Azam University in a powerful display of national unity.

The minister’s participation was the centerpiece of a vibrant Pashtun cultural event organized by the institution’s Pashtun Council. Upon his arrival on campus, he was cordially received by Vice Chancellor Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, faculty members, and the student body.

Creating a memorable moment of cultural camaraderie, Naqvi partook in the energetic Attan dance, sharing a moment of joy with the young scholars. He later engaged in an informal dialogue with students, encouraging them to focus on their education and partake in positive, community-building endeavors.

Appreciating the rich display of Pashtun traditions, the Interior Minister remarked that Pakistan’s youth are its pride and its future. He emphasized that the country’s core strength is found in its cultural diversity and togetherness.

Naqvi further noted that Pashtun culture holds a distinguished place in the world and highlighted that such functions are essential for fostering harmony, love, and brotherhood among citizens.

The celebration was also graced by the presence of the Vice Chancellor of Quaid-e-Azam University, the Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad, and the Additional Deputy Commissioner.
