Pakistan and Turkiye Unite to Champion Sustainable Peace and Aid for Gaza

Pakistan and Turkiye have pledged to intensify joint efforts to secure sustainable peace and urgent humanitarian relief for Gaza, officials confirmed, following a high-level meeting between the two nations’ top diplomats. The commitment was made on the sidelines of a Ministerial Meeting dedicated to the ongoing crisis in the region.

During the discussions on Monday, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, and his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, agreed to continue working closely on the pressing issue of Palestine.

The meeting also served as an opportunity to review the robust bilateral relationship between the two countries. Both ministers expressed contentment with the positive trajectory of Pakistan-Turkiye ties and resolved to further deepen their strategic partnership across political, economic, and defence domains.

Underscoring the historic bonds of brotherhood and mutual support that characterize their alliance, the leaders agreed to maintain close coordination on a range of regional and global matters of shared interest.
