Sindh Governor Calls on UN to Uphold Kashmiri Right to Self-Determination

Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori today called upon the United Nations to fulfill its promises to the Kashmiri people and grant them the right to self-determination, stating that alleged atrocities by India have only strengthened their resolve.

In a statement issued on Jammu and Kashmir Martyrs’ Day, the governor paid tribute to the sacrifices made by Kashmiris, marking November 6, 1947, as a day that commemorates their extensive struggle for freedom.

Governor Tesori described the Kashmiri freedom movement as being founded on truth and justice, expressing confidence that the sacrifices made would not be in vain. He asserted that actions by India have failed to demoralize the population, suggesting that their determination has instead intensified.

Reaffirming national policy, he resolved that Pakistan will consistently provide moral, political, and diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir. The governor pledged that the country would continue to be their voice and advocate for their cause at every international forum.
