The federal government has identified the empowerment of Pakistan’s youth, who constitute approximately 60 percent of the nation”s populace, as its foremost priority, according to Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar.
Speaking via video link at a convocation for Leads University on Sunday, the minister articulated that this focus aligns with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s vision to foster a self-reliant and capable younger generation through superior educational opportunities.
Tarar highlighted a recent government program to distribute 100,000 laptops to talented students. He stated the initiative is designed to help recipients enhance their skills, explore better opportunities, and bring honor to the country.
During his address, the information minister also commended the graduating students and their parents, extending his best wishes for their future success and professional endeavors.
He further extended his congratulations to the faculty and staff of Leads University for their dedication to imparting quality education. Tarar remarked that teaching is the noblest of professions, asserting that those associated with it deserve the utmost respect and appreciation.
