UoT Leadership Vows to Bolster Research Framework, Academic Quality

The leadership of the University of Turbat (UoT) has reiterated its firm commitment to enhancing the institution’s research and academic benchmarks, making it a central focus during the 23rd session of the Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB).

According to a statement issued today, the high-level meeting, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, addressed a comprehensive agenda concerning the university”s graduate programs. Dr. Waseem Barkat, Director of Graduate Studies, presented items related to synopsis defenses, thesis submissions, evaluations, and viva reports.

During the proceedings, the Vice Chancellor stressed the critical need for conducting additional research workshops and training sessions. He articulated that such initiatives are essential for cultivating a more dynamic and productive research environment within the university community.

Prof. Dr. Hasan commended the Director of Graduate Studies and his team for their consistency in organizing the ASRB meetings at regular intervals. He described this practice as instrumental in reinforcing the university’s graduate research structure and maintaining rigorous academic principles.

The gathering was attended by a host of senior officials, including the UoT’s Pro Vice-Chancellor, faculty deans, senior faculty members, the Registrar, Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), and the Controller of Examinations. The Principal of Government Shaheed Ayoub Buledi College, Turbat, was also present, indicating broad engagement on the academic agenda.
