The Sindh High Court Sukkur Bench on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of the Grade 01 to Grade 04 jobs case until November 26. The background of this case is that the Sindh High Court had previously ruled in favor of the petitioners, but the Sindh government filed an appeal against this decision in the Supreme Court. After hearing the arguments of both parties, the Supreme Court did not annul the High Court’s decision but rather sent the case back to the High Court and gave clear instructions to resolve it within two months.
Despite the Supreme Court’s directive, more than four months have passed and the case is still not complete. Various applications from the parties, submission of records, and government delays are repeatedly postponing the proceedings. In the latest hearing, due to incomplete arguments, the court has set the next hearing for November 26.
