A significant administrative change has taken place at the Sindh Employees’ Social Security Institution (SESSI), where Hadi Bakhsh Kalhoro has taken over as Commissioner following the transfer of Safdar Hussain Rizvi. Safdar Hussain Rizvi has been appointed as the Secretary to the Governor of Sindh.
On this occasion, a farewell ceremony was held today at the SESSI Head Office, where officers and staff participated to appreciate the services of the outgoing commissioner.
During the ceremony, participants praised the services of Safdar Hussain Rizvi, stating that his tenure proved crucial in improving the overall performance of the institution. The participants highlighted his key role in facilitating the provision of SESSI’s facilities to laborers.
In his address, Safdar Hussain Rizvi emphasized the primary purpose of the institution. He said, “SESSI is an institution for the welfare of laborers, and it is directly connected to the working class. You get a direct opportunity to serve the public.”
The institution’s officers also welcomed the newly appointed Commissioner, Hadi Bakhsh Kalhoro. They expressed confidence that his “leadership, vision, and experience” will open new avenues for SESSI and further promote discipline, professionalism, and transparency within the institution.
The ceremony was attended by Vice Commissioner Sikandar Baloch, Medical Advisor Saadat Memon, and Directors Ghulam Dastagir, Danish Ali Kazmi, Wakiluddin Kamal Shah, and Wasim Jamal, among other senior officials.
At the end of the ceremony, Safdar Hussain Rizvi was presented with a commemorative shield by SESSI in recognition of his services.
