Women Cyclists Urge Regular Sporting Events Across Balochistan

Following a successful Women’s Cycle Race, participants have called for the regular organization of similar sporting competitions for women throughout Balochistan, emphasizing the importance of such constructive activities.

According to an official report today, the 5.9 km race, a collaborative effort between the Pakistan Army and the Quetta District Cycling Association, was held at the Shola Sports Complex in Quetta and drew a significant number of female competitors.

At the conclusion of the event, top finishers were awarded cash prizes, medals, and certificates in a formal ceremony. In a gesture of encouragement, special prizes were also presented to recognize the youngest and oldest cyclists who took part in the competition.

The competitors commended the Pakistan Army for organizing the health-focused initiative. They asserted that such events are vital for women and should be held on a recurring basis across the province.
