Responding to a series of citizen complaints primarily concerning land encroachments, SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza today mandated immediate legal action against offenders during an open court session held at his office.
The public hearing was organized under an open-door policy, following special directives from Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, to ensure the prompt redressal of citizen problems.
During the session, SSP Operations attentively listened to the concerns presented by various individuals and issued firm directives to the relevant officers. He instructed them to take legal action on the marked applications within a given time frame and to submit a follow-up report on the matter.
On the occasion, the senior police official stated that the Islamabad Police maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding violence against women and children, underscoring that providing maximum relief to the public is a top priority.
He further emphasized that the supremacy of the law will be ensured at all costs. SSP Raza also affirmed that every citizen has equal rights and that all applications will be decided on merit, adding that the protection of citizens’ lives, property, and dignity is of utmost importance.
