Trainee DSPs Given In-Depth Briefing On Capital Police Operations And Logistics

A group of under-training Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) from the National Police Academy received a comprehensive overview of the capital’s law enforcement functions during a visit to the Police Lines Headquarters.

According to a report by the Capital Police on Friday, the delegation was greeted by senior officials of the Islamabad Police upon their arrival. Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) for Logistics, Abdul Haq Umrani, conducted a detailed presentation for the visiting trainees.

The briefing covered a wide range of topics, including the operational procedures, recent initiatives, and other significant affairs managed by the city”s police force.

Following the presentation, the contingent was given a guided tour of several key facilities within the Police Lines Headquarters to provide them with practical insights into police logistics and infrastructure.

The tour included inspections of administrative offices, the quarter guard, the daily crime register (roznamcha), the armoury, the miscellaneous store, the uniform warehouse, and the on-site firing range.
