Several of those injured by aerial firing on the night between Wednesday and Thursday during New Year celebrations are in critical condition. According to a detailed report issued today by the Edhi Foundation, the injured, who were hit by stray bullets, were moved to various medical centers for immediate medical attention.
At least 28 people, including women and children, were injured in multiple incidents of aerial firing carried out in celebration of the New Year in different areas of the city.
The victims of the indiscriminate firing include people of all ages, from a young child to a 71-year-old senior citizen.
Among the youngest injured was 11-year-old Mahjabeen, while the oldest victim was 71-year-old Salamat Gul from Manzoor Colony.
