Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has received a comprehensive police report about a horrific incident of child exploitation and murder.
The main suspect, identified as Hamza, who is the neighbor of the deceased child, has been arrested by law enforcement agencies. Additional Inspector General (IG) Karachi Azad Khan confirmed the arrest today, stating that the case has been formally registered at Napier Police Station. He has committed to personally overseeing the investigation to ensure thoroughness and transparency.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) South Asad Raza and his appointed police team played a crucial role in the prompt arrest of the suspect. Additional IG Azad Khan assured the public that justice will be provided to the victim’s family, emphasizing that no stone will be left unturned in the pursuit of justice.
Chief Minister Shah has instructed both Additional IG Karachi and DIG South to maintain open communication with the victim’s family, ensuring that they remain informed and confident in the investigation process. He stressed the importance of conducting a transparent inquiry and strengthening the case for prosecution to ensure the suspect faces appropriate legal consequences.
In a stern warning, the Chief Minister declared that any form of negligence or leniency will not be tolerated in resolving the inhumane act against this innocent child. Sindh Chief Minister’s spokesperson Abdul Rashid Channa reiterated the administration’s commitment to justice and support for the victim’s family during this difficult time.
