The seventh death anniversary of eminent television and film actress and Presidential Pride of Performance recipient Roohi Bano was observed on Sunday.
The renowned actress gained immense popularity for her memorable performances in classic television serials “Kiran Kahani”, “Zard Gulab”, and “Darwaza”.
In recognition of her valuable contributions to the fine arts, she was awarded the Presidential Pride of Performance in 1981.
Born in Karachi on August 10, 1951, the veteran actress passed away on this day in Istanbul in 2019.
