Leaders from two prominent Punjab universities convened to explore strategic partnerships aimed at bolstering academic standards and strengthening institutional ties within the region”s higher education sector.
Professor Dr. Shazia Bashir, the Vice Chancellor of Government College Women University, Sialkot, conducted a courtesy visit and formal meeting with Professor Dr. Shahid Munir (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz), the Vice Chancellor of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET).
The discussion, held at the UET Vice Chancellor”s office, centred on areas of mutual interest, with a pronounced emphasis on developing avenues for academic collaboration between the two institutions.
Further talks focused on joint initiatives for the promotion and advancement of higher education and reinforcing the institutional linkages between the engineering university and the womens university.
Also present during the consultation was Professor Dr. Shahid Rafiq, who serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Humanities and Islamic Studies at UET.
