In Karachi South, early Tuesday morning, the police arrested a suspect in injured condition after an encounter during routine patrol while several of his accomplices escaped taking advantage of the darkness.
Police officers responded immediately to the presence of motorcycle-riding suspects who were believed to be planning a crime. Upon their arrival, the suspects began firing, forcing the police to return fire.
During the exchange of fire, a suspect identified as Naziruddin was arrested after being injured. Several other suspects managed to escape taking advantage of the night’s darkness.
The police recovered several items from the scene including a 9mm handgun, a 30-bore pistol, mobile phones, and a motorcycle,
