Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Wednesday asserted that Pakistan’s adversaries are using social media platforms to spread anarchy and disruption, emphasising the urgent need to integrate information and media literacy into the educational curriculum.
Addressing the National Curriculum Summit in the capital today, the minister stated that such educational reforms are essential to promote responsible online behaviour among the nation”s youth.
He stressed that the younger generation must be properly educated to empower them to make informed and conscientious choices in the digital age.
Mr Iqbal also pointed to the growing influence of artificial intelligence across all sectors, highlighting a critical need for children to be involved in more hands-on and experimental learning opportunities.
