A mixed trend was observed in the precious metals market on Thursday, where gold prices remained completely stable in local and international markets, while silver prices recorded a significant increase.
The price of 24-karat silver per tola increased by Rs 90, bringing the new price to Rs 8,825. Similarly, the price of ten grams of 24-karat silver rose by Rs 78 to reach Rs 7,566.
In contrast, there was no fluctuation in the prices of the yellow metal. The price of 24-karat gold per tola remained stable at Rs 528,562.
Similarly, the prices of ten grams of 24-karat gold and ten grams of 22-karat gold also remained unchanged at Rs 453,156 and Rs 415,408, respectively.
This local trend was also reflected globally, where the international price of silver closed at $83.50 after an increase of $0.90. Meanwhile, the international price of gold remained stable at $5,058 without any change.
