Saudia Group Incorporates 1,000 Aviation Specialists to Boost Services in Pakistan and Globally

JEDDAH: Saudia Group has announced the integration of over 1,000 newly trained aviation specialists into its workforce, marking a significant achievement in its history. This development is part of the Kingdom's strategy to bolster its aviation sector and enhance services, particularly in key markets like Pakistan.

According to Saudia Airlines, the graduates completed eight specialized training programs conducted by Saudia Group and its subsidiaries, which include Saudia, Saudia Academy, Saudia Technic, Saudi Ground Services, SAL Saudi Logistics Services, flyadeal, and CATRION. These trainees will assume roles across various operational sectors such as flight operations, ground services, engineering, logistics, and customer service, thereby supporting the Group's expanding aviation network, including its operations in Pakistan.

Pakistan is a crucial international market for Saudia Group, fueled by robust passenger traffic for business, tourism, and religious purposes. The expanded workforce is expected to enhance operational efficiency and service reliability on routes linking major Pakistani cities with Saudi Arabia.

The graduation ceremony was held under the patronage of His Excellency Engr. Saleh Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, and attended by His Excellency Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General of Saudia Group, along with other senior officials and aviation sector representatives.

His Excellency Engr. Saleh Al-Jasser emphasized the importance of developing national talent to meet the goals of the National Aviation Strategy, highlighting the scale of transformation in the Kingdom's transport and logistics sector. His Excellency Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar noted Saudia Group's progress in localizing aviation roles and surpassing performance targets, underscoring the necessity of continued investment in specialized talent for the next phase of the Group's transformation.

Saudia Group's efforts to expand its fleet, infrastructure, and training programs aim to enhance connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, promoting trade, tourism, and religious travel, while strengthening economic ties between the two nations.
